WITHDRAWAL AND RETRACTION POLICY

1. Manuscript Withdrawal (Before Publication)

Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing submitted manuscripts, as the editorial and peer-review process requires a significant investment of time and effort from editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

A withdrawal request may only be considered if no update on the review process has been provided within six (6) months from the date of submission. All requests must be formally submitted and will be evaluated by the editorial team.

Sanctions for Unethical Withdrawal

If a manuscript is withdrawn without valid justification or during/after the peer-review process without editorial approval, the journal reserves the right to impose the following sanctions:

  • The author(s) may be blacklisted from future submissions to the journal for a specified period.
  • A withdrawal penalty fee of IDR 2,000,000 (or USD 150) may be applied to compensate for editorial and review resources.

2. Article Retraction (After Publication)

Retraction of published articles is conducted in accordance with publication ethics standards to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

An article may be retracted under the following conditions:

  • Evidence of plagiarism or duplicate publication
  • Data fabrication or falsification
  • Major errors that invalidate the findings
  • Ethical violations in research or publication

Retraction will be clearly indicated in the journal, and the original article will remain accessible with a retraction notice explaining the reason for the action.

The decision to retract an article is made by the editorial board, and authors will be informed accordingly.
