Author Guidelines

 

A. Manuscript General Requirement 

  1. Written in English or Indonesia 
  2. The length of the manuscript is 4000-8000 worlds (not included references) 
  3. Prepared your manuscript using QUAERENS: Journal of Theology and Christianity TEMPLATE
  4. The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor)
  5. The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format (don't use another format).

B. Structure of Manuscript

  1. TITLE. The title of the paper is maxed 12 words (English) or 15 words (Bahasa), without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. AUTHOR INFORMATION. Author information is Author(s) Name, Author(s) Affiliation, Author(s) email. 
  3. ABSTRACT. The length of the Abstract is 150-200; no citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes, results, and the conclusions.
  4. SECTION STRUCTURE. Authors are suggested to present their manuscript in the section structure: Introduction - Method Results and Discussion - Conclusion
  5. REFERENCES. Expect a minimum of 15 references primarily with a minimum of 40% to journal papers. Use Chicago style for your references  

C. Manuscript Preparation Checklist 

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Ensuring the paper conform to the standard of QUAERENS: Journal of Theology and Christianity Studies Template, Please download the paper template in *.DOC
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  6. The length of the submitted paper is 4000-8000 words, not included references.
  7. The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor)
  8. The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format (don't use another format).
  9. The paper will be reviewed and edited without changing any substantial contents.
  10. The rejected paper will be notified to the author via email.
  11. References must be noted in body notes and references according to Chicago style.
